Rancher Hat Bar was founded in January 2023 by Shantelle and Kenny Girard with one vision: to create a modern, interactive approach to one of the West's most enduring traditions... custom hat making.
What began with a vintage camper trailer, a modest startup budget, and a dream quickly became something much bigger.
From the very beginning, the goal wasn't simply to sell hats. It was to create an experience where every customer could become part of the design process and leave with something uniquely their own.
As word spread and more guests discovered the experience at local events, Rancher Hat Bar quickly outgrew its little trailer. On April 15, 2023, the company proudly opened its first storefront in Folsom, California, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
Their love of country-western style and tradition gained traction turning into an experiential retail success story and nationwide expansion leading them open stores across the USA.
